The rows represent the year of survey, the columns represent the sub-districts.
The displayed pages are taken from:
- 1887 - PEF statistics, Liwa Akka. (Northern Palestine only)
- 1922 - Official British Mandate Census
- 1931 - Official British Mandate Census
- 1938 - British Village Statistics
- 1945 - British Village Statistics
- Note: While the british changed their districts many times, the sub-districts themselves remained pretty much unchanged,
with the exception of the Jerusalem sub-district, which at some point 'swallowed' the Jericho and Bethlehem sub-districts.
For simplicity's sake, in the above table, Jericho and Bethlehem are always grouped with Jerusalem, even before their merger.
